ICBSSHOW Welcomes Lockheed Martin as Premier Sponsor for 2017 Event

Press Release: ICBSSHOW Welcomes Lockheed Martin as Premier Sponsor for 2017 Event

Lockheed Martin, the No. 1 U.S. federal contractor for many years, joins ICBSSHOW as its premier sponsor for the 2017 event Aug. 30-31 at the Embassy

ICBSSHOW is co-sponsored by OBAN, which is administered by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, and Tribal Government Institute.

Lockheed Martin is a major manufacturer of aircraft, missiles and satellites. It uses suppliers and subcontractors with a wide range of capabilities, including manufacturing parts, providing support equipment, and engineering services.

The global company organizes its business around four core areas: aeronautics; missile and fire control; rotary and mission systems; and space systems. All divisions will participate at the ICBSSHOW in the event’s matchmaking, tradeshow and training sessions.

Lockheed Martin is looking for suppliers and business partners of all kinds, but especially HUBZonecertified and Native American-owned companies. Representatives from Lockheed Martin will be available in the ICBSSHOW exhibits throughout the two-day event, will lead a session on the first day covering how to market to Lockheed Martin and will participate in one-on-one appointments while they last in matchmaking on the second day.

The matchmaking sessions provide opportunities for ICBSSHOW participants to explore business opportunities in both classroom and face-to-face meetings.

ICBSSHOW, in its 11th year, opens with a day of training and networking with sessions related to all levels of government contracting. Keynote speakers include Holly Schick, director of the newly formed all-small mentor-protege program at the Small Business Administration, and David Nimmo, president and CEO of Chickasaw Nation Industries.

The regional conference fosters business partnerships among the federal government, its prime contractors and small, minority, veteran-owned, service disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone and womenowned businesses. ICBS has become the premier event for small businesses throughout the Southwest.

OBAN and TGI are both procurement technical assistance centers that provide marketing and technical assistance to businesses interested in selling products and services to federal, state, local and tribal governments.

Information about ICBSSHOW, exhibit space, the matchmaking event and registration is available at www.icbsshow.com, 405-227-0382 and on Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. Registration is $175 until Aug. 14.
